Project
“Supply and Placement of platforms near OASA stops”, was implemented in 2022.
More specifically, it concerns the procurement and installation of 409 pieces of specialised items which were placed near bus and trolley stops to facilitate the access of all passengers, particularly the disabled citizens.
Objectives & Results
The platforms improve the accessibility of public transport passengers while boarding the vehicles, as well as waiting at the stops.
By the use of platforms, the level of service provided is significantly improved, as it facilitates the accessibility of the passengers.
The implementation of the project contributes to the ongoing goal of OASA to upgrade the urban transport system.
