Athens Urban Transport Organization has proceeded in establishing EXPRESS bus lines that include a limited number of stops, in order to meet the needs of passengers for quick transportation. These lines include E and X bus lines.

Express BUS LINES E

The E bus lines operate only on weekdays.

X bus lines operate the entire week.

AIRPORT Express BUS LINE X

The Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos” is serviced on 24-hour basis by EXPRESS bus lines (see the following link for more information). It is noted that for the Airport bus lines there is a special ticket and a special operational status (that is, ONLY boarding is allowed in routes to the Airport, whereas ONLY disembarking is allowed in the routes from the Airport).
