“Supply and Installation Cameras for OASA’s Bus Lane Violation monitoring “, was implemented in the year 2023.
Objectives & Results
Supply and installation of twelve radar equipped digital cameras, for Exclusive Bus Lanes Surveillance. The cameras were installed on twelve existing poles. The operation of these systems aims at the recording of violations according to the Traffic Code. The processing and delivery of violation tickets is implemented by the Hellenic Police Traffic Departments.
Private cars avoid using the Exclusive Bus Lanes this the new cameras improve the quality of Public Transport service.
